The 5th Annual Black Midwives and Healers Conference, " Rising From the Ashes: The Resurrection of a Community Listener, Healer and Nurturer, " recently took place in Phoenix, AZ on October 13th, 14th and 15th of 2006.  This years conference was a blast! We had belly dancing classes, a head wrapping workshop, special guests such as Ina May Gaskin and Kathryn Hall as well as an open mike night and free massage therapy.

Fortunately, for those of you who weren’t able to attend and for anyone who would like a keepsake, we are offering memorabilia for purchase. The 2006 conference bags make great gifts and the ICTC T-Shirts are Fabulous.
